Our Senior Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in providing a wide level of services to the organization including staffing, internal communications, benefit administration, safety support, training, payroll administration and overall team member relations. Specific accountabilities include:
Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change, payroll and benefits. Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations. Oversee the hourly staffing, recruitment and retention activities to match job requirement needs with the appropriate skills, knowledge, abilities and experience, and provide orientation and development training Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives. Support Safety functions, including training, tool box topics, communications, audits and inspections, recordkeeping, procedures and policies to ensure compliance with all local, state, federal and corporate requirements Assist the recruitment applicant pool selection by maintaining liaisons with schools, organizations and associations Provide guidance and recommendations for problem resolution to employees, supervisors and management Collaboration on developing and training to local company policies and practices Coordinate employee relations activities Development of an employee-oriented Company culture that emphasizes Quality, Safety, Continuous Improvement and high performance Partner with management to resolve employee relations issues; provide coaching and counseling to management and staff; collaborate with legal counsel on issues as appropriate Implement, administer and interpret corporate policies, programs and procedures Build relationships with staff at all levels; assure that new recruits integrate effectively into the organization by delivering a high quality on-boarding program Develop and facilitate organization-specific training sessions; assess training effectiveness through evaluations Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Support the year-end compensation review to ensure consistent and fair decisions are made in regards to promotion, bonus and salary increase Human Resources Management, Hiring, Developing Standards, Foster Teamwork, Management Proficiency, Managing Profitability, Promoting Process Improvement, Building Relationships, Organizational Astuteness, People Skills, Retaining Employees Manage overall headcount and staffing plans Directly manages HR team consisting of hourly and salary team members The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field 7 or more years of relevant Human Resources experience, in a manufacturing environment. Food processing industry experience is desired Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Strong multi-tasking and presentation skills to various levels of management High energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Union experience helpful PHR and/or SPHR is a plus
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
